Howson Hut & Sauna

Price includes full access to all groomed ski trails, cedar lined sauna, fire/bbq pit, canoe, cycling and walking trails.

This exclusivly private getaway is located on 10 acres of lakeside wooded property overlooking Babine Mountain Provincial Park. Howson Hut is surrounded by thousands of acres of unoccupied Crown Land and a stay here is an experience treasured by many.

Bottled Water at $9.00 per 5 gallon bottle of Mountain Mist, purified spring water
Gear Hauling, $25.00 / load. ( includes coming back out )

50% deposit is required at time of booking to secure your reservation

What's at the cabins

* Drinking water ( Bottled tap water )
* Basic supplies ie: coffee, tea, sugar, spices, oil etc
* Firewood for wood stove, sauna and fire pit
* Clean Linen
* Propane lights and cookstove
* Dishes, cutlery, pots & pans, dish soap, tea towels
* Cards & board games.
* Toilet paper

What you need to bring

* Sleeping bag & pillow
* Food
* Good coffee ( if you need it )
* Flashlight
* Slippers
* Warm clothes
* Skiis and / or Snowshoes

Tyee Mountain Ski Trails are operated under Crown Lands license to Tony & Janet Harris of Take-A-Hike Tours, Telkwa British Columbia.
There are about 25-30 km of trackset, maintained trails and more on the way.

Pets

* Dogs are OK on the trails. ( $1.00 each )
* Dog owners are responsible for removal of dogs deposits from the trails.
* Please keep dogs under control & do not allow them to harrass wildlife or other skiers.
* Please keep dogs off the Set tracks
** Please no dogs at or around the Hut or for overnight stays unless by prior arrangement
